our story
Igniting conversations through compelling storytelling.

Poco aims to celebrate the achievements of Australian filmmakers, providing an opportunity to share their unique stories, perspectives, and artistic visions with a broader audience.

Meet the team.
Poco Film Fest is an initiative of Mass Motion, a Ballarat based creative agency. Established 15 years ago, Mass quickly gained a reputation as one of Regional Victoria's leading creative agencies, consisting of a team with a combined passion for cinema, visual art, design, and music.

What started as a conversation of the amazing talent we have here in regional Victoria, became a mission to engage with our community and build on Ballarat’s cultural and creative foundations.

The vision of Poco Film Fest is to foster new and emerging talent and build a community for filmmakers and movie-goers to share, colab and inspire, all the while supporting the Ballarat creative city strategy.
